The Writer
Wendy Watts
I wrote Patient 19 in two days, it is is my first screenplay (Feature Length: 113 pages). It all started on a rainy morning in New York back in 2013. I could see the characters and dialogue in my head and was compelled to write the story as a novel, which I later converted to a screenplay format when I moved back to L.A. In a metaphorical, serendipitous event, Patient 19 was named a finalist in the 2019 L.A. Live Film Festival. Looking forward to seeing what Patient 19 can bring to present and future audiences. The hope is it will leave a legacy in this film genre.
