The Story

Room 19 has a history. Erin is its nurse. Iain is about to find out why.

Patient Room 19 at St. Vincent Hospital has a history of difficult and challenging patients with a grim diagnosis when assigned to its nurse, Erin.

Drama unfolds when an emergency plane landing crosses the paths of Erin with Iain — an international rugby player — who becomes the latest Room 19 occupant: #Patient19. Erin's stoic, sarcastic approach rebuffs Iain's pro-athlete ego.

Dr. Reynesfeld, the resident physician, hides an affinity for Erin that surfaces when Iain begins to display interest. When Iain's initial proposal to Erin is declined, he tracks down 3 of her past patients to find a way to build a deeper connection.

In an odd twist of fate, Erin ends up being the latest "Patient 19" and is visited by her past 3 patients to provide advice and support through her existential crisis. The paths of the characters intertwine for a surprise ending.
